I did not know it was possible to stare at my own stomach and be this goddamn pissed with it.

hardstylegeneration:

I’m totally fine with new people joining the EDM family, but if you slander and ruin everything about us and assume we’re all drug addicts, then you either need to educate yourself or leave.

what you said was: "i don't respect women who don't respect themselves"
what you meant was: "i and society as a whole hold women up to ridiculous respectability standards directly relating to the "purity" of said women while hypersexualizing them at the same time and if you are a woman and don't fit my awkward monolith of criteria then i refuse to acknowledge your humanity"
what i heard was: "hi i'm a misogynist piece of shit, please punch me in my face"

Sadly there’s not very many EDM fans in my school, only a few that I really know of. Most of them only know about just Skrillex. If I ask them “Oh so you like EDM too?” they respond with “Wat’s that, I said I listen to Skrillex, y’know wub wub wub womp wub wub weewooweewoo” which is both slightly irritating to hear and sad because there’s so much more to electronic music than dubstep.

The majority of people in my school actually listen to whatever is thrown to them by pop music channels on the radio.
